Fish Pie

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Peel and boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with half the butter.
  2. Melt the remaining butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Add the milk gradually, whisking, until you have a smooth sauce.
  3. Fold the raw fish into the sauce, transfer to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes over the top.
  4. Bake until bubbling at the edges and golden on top, about 25 minutes.
